Medication Titration
£595
Commencing a medication pathway for ADHD is called medication titration.
This process includes:
-
- An initial medication planning appointment, starting at a low dose
- Five follow-up appointments to reach a suitable and stable dose
During your initial medication planning session, your clinician will:
-
- Discuss the benefits and possible side effects of the medication
- Explain how and when to take your medication
- Provide lifestyle and safety considerations to help you manage treatment effectively
If treatment is suitable, a 28-day prescription will be issued. The cost of the medication itself is paid directly to the pharmacy and is separate from our service.
Should it be determined that you are not suitable to proceed with medication titration, a refund of £550 will be provided.
Your clinician will work with you to find the right medication and dose as quickly and safely as possible.
If a medication does not suit you and further changes are needed, additional follow-up appointments will be charged at £75 each.
Once stable, you may ask your GP to take over prescribing under a Shared Care Agreement.
However, acceptance of shared care is at the discretion of your GP, and this varies locally. If your GP declines shared care, you may continue to receive prescriptions from our service at a charge of £25 per prescription.
