Initial Assessment And Report

A meeting with one of our clinicians to do some preliminary screenings to find the most appropriate clinical assessment.

ADHD Assessment

Includes full diagnostic report. The assessment will take two hours and will be undertaken by a Specialist ADHD Practitioner. If you receive a positive diagnosis and it is appropriate your clinician will discuss your treatment options.

Medication Planning Appointment

Discuss your treatment plan and safety screening and commence treatment with your practitioner.

Medication Review

When prescribed medication by our clinic, you will be required to have regular medication reviews with your practitioner.

Annual Package

Please note: once shared with GP your care remains the responsibility of our clinic as your GP does not change your medication or dose. You will be required to have 6 monthly reviews for us to ensure you continue to be safe to take your medication and to complete an up to date shared care form with your GP . The cost of this review is £75

Autism Assessment

The assessment will consist of several appointments with various clinicians and information gathered across several settings such as education, home and social. Includes diagnostic report.

1-1 assessment of all your difficulties and challenges and structured assessment using tools validated by National Institue of Clinical Exellence

Follow Up Consultations

Should you receive a positive diagnosis and choose to pursue treatment. Our clinician’s will require you to have a follow up consultation to work with you to enable you to reach the best possible outcome. Once you and your clinician are happy that you are stable and benefiting from treatment, we will then request your GP takes shared care of your treatment.

After Your Purchase

After selecting a plan, we will send you a link to book an available slot for your 1:1 appointment. We will also ask that you complete a pre- screening assessment if you have not already done so, and we will use your results to help guide our session together.

* The plus plan includes 8 follow-up consultations that you can book at any available slot, one year from the date of purchase. From our past experience, 8 follow-up consultations would be a significant amount and we rarely see people requiring more than 6.

After Your Assessment

If following your assessment you receive a positive diagnosis, your clinician will discuss with you your pharmacological or psychological treatment options. If you decide to pursue treatment you will then choose your treatment plan. If your diagnosis is positive but you decide not to pursue treatment at this time your assessment will be charged at the rates in our non-package price list. Should the assessment highlight any other Mental health condition, we will provide a letter to your GP.

The costs of medications are not included in any of our pricing and are not paid to The ADHD Treatment Centre. The charges for Medication are paid directly to our partner pharmacy. We do strive to get the most cost-effective safe medical treatment for you. These costs can vary depending on the right medication for you and can be between £50-£100 per month supply. We do aim to get your medication optimised and stable as quickly as possible and then will request your GP to take shared care of your condition and provide the medication from your GP service to you.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee your GP will accept shared care of your condition. Your GP does have the right to decline. Commonly if your GP service declines this is because they do not have a clinician competent in ADHD to monitor your condition within their service. However, our assessments are all carried to NICE guidelines and we can support your GP service and negotiate terms with them for you in order to encourage them to take shared care.
